The second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket tournament is scheduled to take place from November 17 to December 13.
A total of eight teams (Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Pokhara Avengers, Lumbini Lions, Sudurpaschim Royals, and Karnali Yaks) will compete in the T20 tournament organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). The mini-auction for player selection has already been completed.
The inaugural edition of the NPL was held during the same period last year, with Janakpur Bolts emerging as the champions.
Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the second edition, with upgrades being made to the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. A parapet and floodlights are currently being installed at the stadium.
