The Grade 12 examinations are officially starting today across the country, with all necessary preparations completed, according to the National Examinations Board (NEB).
The exams are scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM at 1,591 examination centres, including one international centre in Japan. NEB Chairman Mahashram Sharma confirmed the arrangements and urged students to attend the exams with confidence and a positive mindset.
Among the centres, 162 are located in Kathmandu, while Manang and Mustang have one centre each. A total of 511,525 students are set to appear for the exams this year. Of them, 395,908 are taking the exams under the regular category, while 115,617 are under the partial (supplementary) category.
The national exams will continue until May 16.
