Several parts of the country, including the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding hilly regions, have experienced rainfall since last night, influenced by a combination of westerly winds, local systems, and moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal, the Meteorological Forecasting Division reported.
Currently, rain is ongoing in Kathmandu Valley, and conditions across the country remain partly to generally cloudy. The Division stated in its latest bulletin that areas in the hilly regions, particularly in Koshi and Lumbini provinces, are likely to receive light to moderate rain, accompanied by lightning in some locations.
The forecast suggests that this evening, hilly regions will continue to see partly to generally cloudy skies, with the possibility of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in a few areas, including isolated spots in other parts of the country.
